The Test non-Invasive Prenatal BBsafe Plus it consists of a blood test that examines fragments of free fetal DNA circulating in maternal blood.
Thanks to the massive sequencing of new generationthe system accurately distinguishes between maternal DNA and fetal, even when the fraction of fetal is low.
This test for screening non-invasive expands the scope of the BBsafe Standard.
Incorporates the detection of microdeletions and other genetic syndromes, rareassociated chromosomal alterations that are usually not included in the screening conventional.
Puede realizarse a partir de la semana 10 en embarazos únicos. (BBSafe Plus no puede realizarse en embarazos múltiples, únicamente en estos casos puede realizarse BBSafe Stándar a partir de la semana 12).

The Test BBsafe Plus evaluates the following chromosomal abnormalities:
● Trisomy 21 (down Syndrome)
● Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome)
● Trisomy 13 (Patau Syndrome)
● Aneuploidies of the sex chromosomes (Turner, Klinefelter, XYY, among others)
● Sex of the foetus, if the person is a pregnant woman wants to know.
● The three microdeletion syndromes are more frequent

Indicado para mujeres con gestación única que quieran realizar un estudio genético más completo sin someterse a pruebas invasivas.
The Test Non-Invasive Prenatal BBsafe Plus it is especially recommended in cases of ovodonación o reproducción asistida, which brings added value to the genetic evaluation.
En caso de embarazo múltiple puedes realizar el Test Prenatal No Invasivo BBSafe Estándar a partir de la semana 12.
