This is the first test that is requested as screening of Cystic Fibrosis. In case of being positive, the prescribing doctor must request genetic tests to confirm the diagnosis, as well as other types of scans. It is a painless test which consists in analyzing the collected sweat from the skin of the forearm.

Does not require preparation. Only avoid lotions or creams on the arms the day you go to perform the test.

The sweat test consists of three phases:
- Stimulation: applies pilocarpine on the forearm to induce sweating for 5 minutes with controlled current.
- Collection: the sweat is collected for a maximum of 30 minutes in a special device that allows you to visually check the amount obtained.
- Analysis: the sample is extracted and measured its conductivity with the team Macroduct Sweat Testing System.
