Collection of Kidney stone
If you're going to deliver a sample of calculation or gravel in the kidney, we recommend read the following information carefully. This test allows you to analyze the composition of the calculation to identify the causes that favor their formation and prevent new episodes. To properly follow the indications of collection is critical for ensure that the sample is valid and the result is reliable.

The objective of this test is to determine the composition of the calculation (stone-gravel) removed spontaneously or through intervention (Lithotripsy-Drain), to prevent the predisposing factors to the formation of the same.

The collection of sand and/or kidney stone does not require no prior preparation, or special diet, or interruption of any medication.
PROCEDURE

The patient will use a jar of collection of urine/feces sold in pharmacies to save the calculation or gravel.
Collect the urine in clean and dry container type urinaland then:
- If the calculation is visible what will dry up, pick you up and deposit it in a jar.
- If the calculation is very small, or is this arenillas, you will filter the urine, and then deposit the sand in a jar.
Keep the jar at ambient temperature until delivery to the laboratory.
Delivery the bottle, always free of urinein the laboratory.
